About
The Basics
Name: Steph. Just Steph.
Age: 18. Cleverly disguised as an adult.
Sex: Female, believe it or not.
Education: I’m studying Film-Making & Screenwriting (MA) at UWS.
Job: At the moment, I don't have one. But in future I just want to be an author.
But the first thing you would probably notice about me is that I have the social skills of a spatula: occasionally useful but most of the time just sits there.
Books
Authors: Darren Shan, Kelley Armstrong, J.K. Rowling, Philip Pullman, Jonathan Stroud, C.S. Lewis, Anthony Horowitz, Malcolm Rose, Douglas Adams, Philip Pullman, Eoin Colfer, Marcus Sedgwick, Dean Koontz, Kevin Brooks, Arthur C. Clarke, Neil Gaiman, Alan Gibbons, Graham Marks, Simon Kernick, Karin Slaughter.
Series: The Saga of Darren Shan (Darren Shan), Harry Potter (J. K. Rowling), The Demonata (Darren Shan), Women of the Otherworld, The City trilogy (Darren Shan), His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman), the Bartimaeus trilogy (Jonathan Stroud), The Chronicles of Narnia (C. S. Lewis), Inkworld trilogy (Cornelia Funke), Alex Rider (Anthony Horowitz), A Trilogy in Five Parts (Douglas Adams), The Power of Five (Anthony Horowitz), Traces (Malcolm Rose), Vampirates (Justin Somper).
Books: Koyasan (Darren Shan), You Don’t Know Me (David Klass), Sleepwalking (Nicola Morgan), The Time Traveller’s Wife (Audrey Niffenegger), We Need To Talk About Kevin (Lionel Shriver), Angels and Demons (Dan Brown), Airman (Eoin Colfer), Rise of the Blood Moon (Alan Gibbons).
My Stories
The Vampician: Anna thinks she's a normal thirteen-year-old girl with a unique illness. That is, until she meets a certain "idiot with red hair" who spouts her some insane story that makes all the sense in the world. Her whole life and her outlook on the world is turned upside down and the contents shaken up. How will she handle it? Will she be able to accept who and what she really is?
Before she has time to, however, she has to figure out who she can trust, who's telling the truth, and who's worth risking her life for. Is this brave new world worth leaving behind everything and everyone she cares about, despite what's at stake? Does she really have a choice?
Anna supposes not.
A Muffled Existence: The world makes little sense to Emily Scott, and Emily Scott makes little sense to the world. It’s almost like the two can’t coexist and since the world is just so much bigger than little Emily, she was often left forgotten. So her Guardian Angel is telling us her tale in the hope that that can change.
My One-Shots
I Want You To: Nicole unexpectedly finds love in unlikely places. (4228 words)
Luck Karma: Holly gets hit in the head by a horseshoe at the North Pole. (746 words)
TV
Sci-Fi: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Lost, Fringe, Flashforward, Primeval.
Fantasy: Being Human, Afterlife, Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Ghost Whisperer.
Drama: House, Desperate Housewives, ER.
Crime: Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, Bones, New Tricks, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Cold Case, Spooks, Spooks: Code 9, Law & Order, Life on Mars.

Social Life
Friends: Due to the aforementioned Spatula Social Skills, I don't make them easily. Sometimes I wish I could, but most of the time, I’m quite happy to sit in my room with my characters for company.
The friend I do have, however, is the best I could ask for: Stina, Christina on the Birth Certificate, and if you call her Christine it may be the last thing you do (our Music teacher narrowly escaped). Daughter of geeks and sister of The Stig, she was bound to be a tad eccentric. And that she is. And I’m gutted to be moving away.
Romantic: I’ve only been with 2 guys. One of them 4 times, though the longest of those 4 times was 6 days. I went out with the other guy for the same grand total of 6 days. Then there was a girl (see my journal My Penguin for details). I’d like one that works out.
Family: I have a big one - 2 brothers, 4 sisters - and I love them all to bits.
Random Stuff
- I spend my free time reading and writing stories.
- - Or on Mibba.
- I think Doctor Who is the best thing to happen to the world.
- - No, really…

- - As you probably already guessed
- I love a good bargain.
- - So much that I don’t think I own anything that wasn’t a bargain.
- I h8 it whn ppl typ lyk dis!!1!1
- - What have these people got against vowels?
- I think it's disgusting how girls think they have to go around showing their tits to get attention.
- - Seriously, girls, there are more impressive things you could be doing.
- Don't annoy me when I'm ovulating.
- - Unless you’re bringing me chocolate.
- - - I believe chocolate was invented for ovulating women.
- I'm obsessed with what the world will be like in hundreds of years time.
- - Which is annoying, because there's no way to know.
- - - Unless I get frozen and woken up again.
- - - - I want to do that.
- I'm also obsessed with intelligent alien life.
- - Which is also annoying because we can't reach other planets.
- I love inside jokes.
- - almost as much as I love Lee Evans jokes.
- I like to be sarcastic.
- - Turning things into jokes is the best way to stop them hurting.
- Caffeine is my friend.
- - and Sour Skittles make me giddy.
- I like to name things.
- I feel like the world just ended when my iPod runs out of battery.
- Slow computers make me loose the will to live.
