About
Currently: looking forward to the break...means I can work on my stories...
I'm a very different person, from my relgious views to my friends. I live in a small town in the eastern most state in the US with my parents, that is, until I graduate from college, hopefully, in five years. I'm hoping to move to New Brunswick and start my life on my own there. I have six very close friends, all very different. Two are flutists (like myself), one is in the jazz band with me and the other is my rockin bolder, who I'm going to miss dearly when she transfers because of some issues around school. One is a gamer, who can be very annyoing on a Monday morning (first hand experience here!), one is a music room guru and she got an award for it, and the last one is the type of person to tell you how it is, as am I, and you DON'T want to piss her off, because you will wake up in the hospital, breathing through a tube. I've been you Europe (France and Italy), and I can't wait to go back. I've been to Venice, Florence, Nice, and Paris, and probably the best place, in my mind and eyes, was Florence. Even though it was at the end of our trip, and I was pissed most of the time, I did like Paris, I got to see the Eiffel Tower at night, all lit up. I got to see Notre Dame, and even though I hate Christanity, I still love their cathedrals, I got to see The Opera, where the 'Phantom of the Opera' allegedly took place, along with other places. Going to what I like to write now, I love to write dark romance stories, as you all will find out when I post my most recent one on here to get feed back, and I love to read stories of all sorts. Probably, for literature, the stories I fell absolutely in love with are, anything by one of my favorite poet's, Edgar Allen Poe,(The Tell-Tale Heart being my FAVORITE short story ever), The Divine Comedy, The Phantom of the Opera (yes it is a BOOK, and it has more meat to it than the Broadway musical, although the musical is still good), The Mists of Avalon (even though it's not in the "classics" chategory, it's one of the best stories about King Arthur), and Dracula (although, I am sad to say, I do not own a copy of this classic vampire story). Music is a personal passion of mine, I've been playing the flute for eight years, which I'm damn proud of. My mother sees me in the music buisness when I'm all done my education, which, now that I think about it, I can definatly see happening. My favorite genre to listen to is rock (of course), it doesn't matter what decade, as long as it's good. For playing, I love to play the old, classical stuff that my music teacher picks. This year we're playing Russian Sailors Dance (a VERY cool piece, it reminds me of something from Phantom for some reason), junior year, one of the pieces we playing was March to the Scaffold for our spring concert. Sophmore year, we played Beethoven's Scertzo, and freshmen year we played the part of a Tchaikovsky symmphony, along with America which was very entertaining. Turning to my religious views, and DON'T start preaching at me, I believe in the old pagan ways, which is also known as the Old Religion. If you want to question my believes, take it up with your own space and time, because I don't care. Any questions?
I will admit that I DO have a slight vampire obession, but my obession is Not the Twilight vampires. It is the true, traditional, bloodsuckers who are feared in cultures around the world. I miss the days when someone who found vampires intresting, or even LIKED them, was viewed as the freak. I'm also very, and I repeat, VERY facinated with Lucifer (sometimes viewed as Satan) and Lilith. The "Lilith myth" is further down, if anyone is wondering who she is.
Why is Lilith erased from our society, when Lucifer isn't?
I've gotten a lot of questions about the whole "Lilith myth", so I decided to put this in:
I've been facinated with the whole Lilith myth for a while now (ever since I stumbled across her doing research on Lucifer, who I also find very facinating), and probably a version I like the most would be the one where she was created, by God, as Adam's first wife (which the Bible fails to mention). Lilith was created as Adam's equal, and she didn't want to be treated any different from Adam, and she didn't want to lay beneath Adam. Now some versions I've read online have said that Lilith left the Garden of Eden multiple times, whether it be three or ten, and again, some versions have it where Adam complained to God about Lilith and how she refused to be underneath him during sex. I like the one where she was brought back to Eden, either by the three angels or God, Adam and Lilith tried to mate once more, but again, she refused to be on bottom. Lilith told Adam to pretty much shove it, and did the classic example of an "I'm finished!" statment.
With Lilith gone from Eden, Adam grew very lonely, and asked God to create another woman, and here is where Eve comes in. The difference between Eve and Lilith is, Eve was created from man (which everyone knows, or at least should know). Going back to Lilith, and again some versions do vary, she either met up with a recent fallen angel (Lucifer) and they became "lovers", which she, in turn, became the Queen of Demons. Now, I'm sure everyone knows the story of how man falled, where Eve was tempted by the snake to take the apple, well, some stories put it as Lucifer who was the snake, whereas other versions put it as Lilith who tempted Eve, because she was jealous. (Again, versions do differ from source to source, so just keep that in mind, but Lilith is viewed as either a Dark Goddess, a demon, or the Queen of Demons).
If anyone has any questions, comments, or criticism, feel free to leave me a message below, or in my inbox.
In the eyes of Lady of the Moon:
Satanism = Satan/Lucifer (which ever you prefer) as the all time ruler.
Paganism = Wicca/Old Religion (again which ever you prefer) the God and Goddess are the all time rulers and everything is created equal.
Christanity is over rated!
Lucifer IS NOT the complete evil, he was just went against God, which isn't all that bad, considering many people go against God daily. He's just a fallen angel.
The Goddess and God existed LONG before Satan came around.
Satan was created by the Christains
(If anyone finds this to be either wrong or offensive, DEAL WITH IT! These are my own thoughts/believes.)
Oh, and the band, chorus, and vocal ensemble at my school went to the Great East Festival back on May 22nd, 2009. The band and chorus won gold, and the vocal ensemble won platinum, much to our surprise.
