About

I'm currently attending college at the Art Institute of Vancouver. As such I've been extremely busy and updating my stories could take quite a while. I apologize in advance for this, and thank everyone who understands. Sometimes I won't update for months or years, and sometimes I'll have a writing spree and update a few times a week. It's just how it happens, and I cannot change that.

Now about my stories. I love science fiction. I love what might be and what could be, and above all I love writing about human nature and the human mind. It simply fascinates me. My favourite thing to delve into is emotion, and to successfully convey it is what I strive for the most. I want you, the reader, to feel what the character is feeling, to jump at a sudden noise when she does, to understand her insanity or to agree with that anger, however misplaced it might be. Terror at the edge of inevitable change? I'll write it! Fear at something so unspeakably aghast that its simply incomprehensible to the human mind? Heck, yeah! Confusion and madness and insanity and all that lovely stuff? I'll try my best!

Creating things is what I love to do the most. Infinite worlds within infinite realities with creatures too alien to even imagine, jumping through time and space and through to alternate dimensions. But then I always was the space obsessor with extra dimensions and pocket wormholes weighing heavily on my mind. I also love intrigue and corruption, and writing corrupt governments, though indeed incredibly hard, is something I'm working on. My Metroid fanfic, "Pirated Scraps of Humanity", recently had a major overhaul including a complete cospiracy in the higher recesses of the Galactic Federation! Woot!

I don't really keep track of authors, but a few of my favourites have to be H.P. Lovecraft, simply for the good dose of otherworldy strangeness he bestows upon his words. Isaac Asimov, for the great world of robotics he no doubt spent countless years of his life fleshing out. Paul Stewert, for bringing to us the Edge Chronicles and the wonderful way he interwines all books with each other. And...that's about it, for authours I remember, that is. There's too many good books and awesome authours for my feeble memory to remember.

I'm also an artist and love to draw, well, science fiction crap, mostly. My profile picture up there is one of my characters, named Tejed Jenal. She's insane and the main character from "Pirated Scraps", my Metroid fanfic over there.
