About
Hey!!!!!! My name's Sophie.
I'm 15. And i've just given up biting my nails for the 3rd time this month.
I am the most sarcastic person you are ever likely to meet.
Possibly the most interesting thing about me is that i write songs. I'm a songwriter. And last year, two of my songs were commended in the UK Songwriting Contest. That was one of the most amazing things to ever happen to me. I guess it proved that my best friend isn't the only person in the world to like my music.
My best friend in the history of the planet is randomeercmerawr. She's awesome, and she writes properly amazing stories, so go check her out.
I’m that girl in the corner who doesn’t quite know who she is yet. Be patient with me. I’m getting there.
I cry when people are happy. There’s something about the raw emotion of happiness that wells me up. Everytime.
I’m not the kind of girl who needs a boyfriend. I’ve seen too many people get hurt. Plus wanting song material was never a good reason to go out with anybody. But i still think love songs are awesome.
I’m constantly singing. Just random lines from random songs that I’m into at the moment. It drives all my friends and family crazy and they all scream at me to shut up. I don’t.
My favourite radio station is Capital 95.8. I love it so much that I even listen to it when the reception’s all crackly and rubbish. Because I’m stubborn like that.
I also love indie band love songs. You know the type. All stripped down with a thrumming acoustic guitar and the husky voice. That type of love song seems so much more real to me, like there’s actually some meaning in there somewhere.
I’m one of those people who believe that anyone who’s ever spoken to you; talked to you or even thought about you makes a difference to your life.
I believe in love. I believe in every single kind of love that there is to believe in. I believe in fairytale love. I believe in puppy love. I believe in the kind of love that makes you hate the other person, and you fight the entire time and yet you stay with them because you love them that much. I believe in Prince Charming and happily-ever-afters. I believe that friendship really can turn into love. I think that you have to believe in love, because otherwise you'll never find it. It's like magic that way.
I love music because no matter how you feel, there’s always a song out there to suit your mood or even change it. Music makes my world turn round. I think the best moment ever is when you listen to a song and it sums up the way you feel, even though you didn't know how you felt till you heard it. Moments like that are magical. If my music ever did that to someone, i'd be happy for the rest of my life.
I’ve spent my entire life following the crowd or hiding in the corner. There comes a time when you just have to stand up and speak out. This is that time for me.
I'm not difficult to understand, yet i'm one of the most complex people i know. And I love you for even attempting to understand me.
