Well, I'm Katee (Pronounced like Katie :/), I'm fourteen and have a freakish love of type faces ;]
I'm this little blonde-ish thing and I live in British Columbia. My partner-in-crime is Sydnii, whom you can find on my friends list :]. We once belonged to a band together for about three weeks before I ditched it. Now, I would say that I'm not your typical teen, but by saying that wouldn't I be JUST like all those other kids that think that by embracing a certain lifestyle, or clothing style or some lame thing that they're rebelling against the society they are an avid part of? Yes I know I rant like an old man without cable.
Anyhow I think you should know about my writing style and really how I speak in general, so you understand that I'm not a joke. I realize that sometimes I kind of act/talk like a complete stoner but I assure you I have never done drugs. Hugs, not drugs my friends :]. But that FERSURE doesn't make me straightedge ;] (HA). Eww, I actually used the non-exsitant word "fersure". Kids, do NOT listen to Katee :p. I know I sound NOTHING like a poet when I speak, but I prefer to sound like my stupid self then a classy intellectual who has to be all philosophical all the time for no reason. I mean, who wants to hear about societies shortcomings during cookie and juice time? ;o
Aside from writing fiction and poetry, I have a love for space sciences and physics. Biology isn't really my thing, but I dabble in a little astro-biology every once in awhile. I also enjoy fashion design and writing, and by the way I shop at Value Village and Walmart, I'm not really a big brand name kinda gal ;x. I play the guitar. My guitar, Dani, is an electro-acoustic whom I love dearly :].
My parent's are split so I live in polar opposites in the province. With my mother I have moved 8 times, all into gorgeous heritage or heritage-style homes in a small town. With my father I live on a boat in the heart on the city. I love both of my homes and both of my parents but really that small little boat sometimes just whips the great house I have in the middle of crackville ;D ( did I mention my "small town" is full of junkies? ;o).
Oh! I forgot some things, LIKE:
If you've noticed in my name and poetry and nods to Alice in Wonderland, I'll just tell you that it is indeed my favorite book along with the others.
I cannot tell you what reasons I would have for liking something. I cannot say that I like everything because it is labeled a certain way nor can I say I will dislike it. I like things that are good. That goes for poetry, music, writing, fashion, people. Really I'm not the kind of person who only likes something if it "fits" my standards.
And by the way, just to warn you. You're either going to love me or hate me. Usually there is very little in between with people and me. :]
Well if I keep talking my head might explode from staying on one topic so long (no I'm NOT ADD >:O), so if you want to know anything else about me just ask :]. Don't be shy, I won't bite unless you want me to :]
