You know, not commenting on my writing lowers my motivation to write. What are the readers thinking when they read it?

I don't like guns as much as swords. Guns kill to easily. press the trigger, and Bam! They're down. Too quickly. At least give whatever you firing at a chance! And why hunt with guns?
Seriously, I think guns kill too quickly.

My favorite weapon is the sword. I like the longsword, it's one of my personal favorite types.
Knives and daggers are cool too.
well, basically, i like a lot of weapons that don't use gun powder. Axe/ax, lance/spear, swords, daggers and knives, bows and arrows, stuff like that. magic's cool too. But my first choice is usually the sword. Magically imbued swords are nice too, although a bit cliche for writing. XD lol

Weapon triangle! Just because!
Axe beats lance, lance beats sword, and sword beats axe.
These three can not attack at range, with some exceptions listed below.
poleaxe, pikes, and longswords are effective against Calvary.
Axe, sword, and lance users should have good defense.
Calvary is fast, good for hit and runs, and offensive charges, raiding, etc.
Bows can not attack at close range, unless they have a short ranged weapon.
These ranged units usually have decent defenses.
Mages are usually physical frail, but are powerful at both long and short range attacks.
Exceptions to normally close combat weapons:
Lance-type weapons: The most obvious are spears and javelins, which can be thrown for ranges attacks.
axe-type weapons: there are actually some types of axes that are meant to be thrown, if you didn't know, such as the throwing ax (duh), the hand axe, ...etc.
Sword type weapons: Swords normally aren't supposed to have ranged attacks, but if they are magically imbued, they probably would, depending on how it was magically imbued. Some people do throw swords, even if they aren't meant to be thrown. and throwing your only weapon in battle isn't a very good idea, is it?
Knives and daggers can be thrown, too.

about the mythological beast subject: I'm kinda ok with. You'll notice that some of my stories may or may not have them. But I'm not fanatical about them, nor am I hating on them. I really don't mind them.

One of my favorite book(s)? The Icemark Chronicles. They are awesome.
The first two is about a tiny country named Icemark, who, against all odds, manages to repel a huge invasion army. Twice. once in the first two. It's insane, what they did. The first one is still the best out of the three, though.

When I'm bored, I game, draw, write, dream, or play my violin. and do w/e I feel like doing. But usually those five.

and after watching it, you can also tell i really am a Fire Emblem fan. XD

The most recent film I watched by Hayao Miyazaki is Princess Mononoke. Borrow it from the library or something.
