Hello. My name is Sandy and I'm 14 this year. I live in Singapore.
My friends around me have written their own stories which is partly why I've decided to give it a go. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed writing alot. It isn't something I do to kill time, it is an interest, a hobby, something I find joy in.
Hmm... I love listening to music as well. The bands I love are Racing Kites, Flyleaf, Boys Like Girls, Green Day, Linkin Park, Hillsong United and so much more. The singers I love are Secondhand Serenade, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Ne-Yo, Amy Pearson, Jesse McCartney, Kelly Clarkson, Akon and much more too! It would take me years to list all of them down. Hahaha. Music plays an important role in writing for me as well, I get inspiration from them.
Of course, I enjoy reading too. Another great reason for me to start my own stories. My top five favourite books and series are:
1) The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
2) Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer
3) Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr
4) Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong
5) The Host by Stephaine Meyer
You just HAVE to read them, I've been trying to get people to read The Mortal Instruments in school. But I only succeeded in one. :/ Lol, but it's a really good series.
Hahaha, I get so excited when I talk about books. Right, back to where I was.
I'm still a beginner in writing and I'd love to hear any comments or critiques about my stories from you. So I would appreciate it if you could comment on them or send me a message. I really want to hear your opinions so I can improve.
