Summary:
Brent Harley is in a world he cannot escape, a world consisting of his own future. He never believed he could be understood by anyone, even his close friend, Bree. But soon, Brent discovers that something powerful lives behind his life, consisting of knowledge of power, future, and mysteries. Behind this power hides the mystery of the world’s oldest council, a council Brent is next in line to join. Now at his age, Brent is forced to choose choices he never imagined possible: to join the council or to give up on himself; the world or the girl; to accept his destiny, or not to become the grim reaper.
