Hi. I'm Kayla. I'm socially retarded and awkward in real life. I like musicals. I wish I could be in a musical, but the fact that I can't sing, act, or dance, and the fact that I have severe stage fright kind of ruins that dream for me. RENT, Wicked, In The Heights, Spring Awakening, Hair, and Chicago are some of my top favourite shows. My number one favourite will always, always, always be RENT. I can't even begin to explain how much I love it. I'm also not ashamed to admit that I enjoy things such as High School Musical, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, etc. etc. In fact, I love most things Disney, to make it simple. The Office is my favourite television show. I also very much enjoy Glee, and reruns/DVDs of Sex and the City, Dawson's Creek, and The OC. I like movies, too. Really dramatic and weird movies are my favourites. Especially if they involve drugs. Or if they're musicals. Or anything with Anne Hathaway or Rosario Dawson. I like to read. I enjoy memoirs a lot. Also really dramatic books with drugs. I like art. I'm not so great at creating it, but I like to look at it. I like listening to opera music when I'm stoned. My favourite band is The Academy Is followed by Empires, and then it just kind of gets weird after that because I like almost every kind of music. Right now, I'm really into solo chick singers like Regina Spektor and Kate Nash and Idina Menzel. And of course, musicals are always on my top-played list. I play some guitar but I'm not very good. I like big cities. I live in a small city in Florida with my best friend. I'm really good at making tofu and vegetable stir fry, but aside from that, I'm not so great at cooking. I will never love any boy -- or any person, for that matter -- as much as I love my three year old nephew, Seth. Anyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him, too. I honestly never knew that I could love someone as much as I love that little guy. And oh god, I'm getting all sentimental here, but it's so true. Look at him! How could you not love him?! I like to travel. I have serious driving anxiety...I freak out over everything. It probably has something to do with my intense fear of being in a car accident. Luckily, I walk most places. I also do yoga. Math is my worst subject and I hate it with a passion. I obviously really like to talk about myself. I like talking to other people, too, once I get over my social anxiety. I'm optimistic about almost everything. I'm generally very friendly even though sometimes I don't really know what to say. You should talk to me, though. We could be great friends.
