I'm Mia, a sassy young scrapper from Baltimore City.



But for nine months out of the year, this fabulous place is my home:




I went to an all-girls high school & played sports almost all year round as well as being part of the National Honor Society (I'm a smartypants), Video Game Club, Concert Choir and Gay/Straight Alliance.
---(In case you're wondering why I'm in the Gay/Straight Alliance, I'm bi. My friends call me the Rainbow Rocker)




My parents don't like the fact that I love rock 'n roll, but I really don't give a damn. I've loved rock since I was a little kid & always will.



I'm the oldest of four kids even though I seem like the biggest brat out of the bunch. If you don't like the fact that I act my shoe size instead of my age, that's your problem.



I'm pretty much nice to everyone I meet, but if you piss me off, be prepared to cry like a little bitch.



I'm really silly and am infamous for telling lame jokes and either walking/running/tripping into or onto stuff.



I'm a bit scatterbrained & my thoughts are always 10 places at once. People call me an 'organized mess' (whatever that means...)

I'm a vegetarian & proud member of the PETA Street Team. (Don't worry, though. If you eat meat, I won't guilt trip you about it.)





I hate the fact that people make half-assed assumptions about who I am without getting to know me first. Looks can be deceiving, ya know...

I'm only shy the first few times I meet somebody. Once I feel comfortable enough around them, the crazy comes out.

I got a lip ring on my 18th birthday & I plan on getting another one on the other side as well as some tattoos. One of them is probably gonna be a deathbat going down the side of my rib cage. As for the others, I'm drawing some sketches & will hopefully be able to come up with something.



I'm also volunteering at The Maryland Food Co-op in the basement of the student union.

If I volunteer enough, they'll start paying me 10 dollars an hour and I can finally afford one of these (the big wheels make it perfect for navigating around campus):


Ever since I saw a TV special about them on Fuse, I've become a big fan of Suicide Girls and God's Girls. It's always been a secret (well not anymore) dream of mine to be a model, but I never believed it was possible because I'm only 5'4 and unlike most of the mainstream models, I have curves and my hair doesn't flow in the wind unless I've attacked it with a straitening iron for 2 hours. Also, my family is real strict when it comes to education, so besides that, sports, my extra-cirriculars & choir, I haven't had time to branch out and do much else. But you only live once and I wanna be able to look back later in life and know that I was happy with everything I did regardless of whether I had a stable career or not. Although I don't plan on applying for SG, I do wanna find some photographers & hopefully an agency (a little side money from something I love to do wouldn't hurt; I am a broke college kid after all)...

I play acoustic guitar, but I'm really not that good at it right now.

I plan to stick with college for a while. I'm not dead set on completing it (hell, I'm not sure if it's what I really want) , but it's always good to have something to fall back on.

My dream is to be a school teacher and change kids' lives. With the way things are going with the world today, I figure it's best to get 'em while they're young. ;)
