When a person first meets me, there's a lot of things they don't realize. Little do they know that this quiet person is a total nerd. I discovered the show Star Trek: The Next Generation when I was in elementary school, and it ended up being a lifelong love. Not only do I think that Data the andriod is probably the best character on television, I also collect the books and comics. Thanks to the wonderful crew of the Enterprise-D I will always love science fiction, and I'll never forget it.

Reading and writing have always gone hand-in-hand for me. I've been glued to books ever since I could understand the words, and I've dreamed of being an author since I was in grade school. It's a fantasy I've never been able to quite give up. Writing is a huge stress-reliever for me, a gateway out of my boring life, and something that comes as naturally to me as breathing.

Music and my art go hand in hand. Be it my drawing, writing, or other things, one often influences the other. Lyrics and melodies often move me in ways that real-life dramas never can. I owe a lot of my creativity to the works of Alan Jackson and My Chemical Romance. Alan for his sweet songs about love and loss, and My Chemial Romance for giving me that desire to make something of myself someday. Without that wonderful band I never would have believed that little old me could amount to something. They got me out of depression and back into life itself, trying new things, and just growing as a person. I'll never forget all their wonderful music has done for me.

And I owe a special thanks to Mr. Gerard Way, even though he doesn't even know I exist. Without his art I never would have tried to draw again, and I never would have found the talent that had been there all along. I wish I could thank him in person someday.
