Her eyes were closed tight. She did all that she could to breath, all that she could to simply live. She was dying though, her last breaths leaving slowly. She didn't mind, this death of hers. She just wanted the breathing to stop, to cease, to end. End... The end, the permanent goodbye, the last farewell. It was what she wanted. But as she laid there ready to die, it wasn't what she got.

She opened her eyes. And there she saw an angel. The light was so perfect and bright, overpowering her whole being. She closed her eyes, afraid of the light. She breathed, what would have been her last breath. But she was saved, by a stranger, an angel. A wonderful bloody kiss, giving the world back its hope.©
