If you're my friend, that means I instill my trust in you; I trust you. Some more than others, but that's the way it is. It means that if you say something; Im going to think you're sticking with that. I may give people second chances, but more than likly you're not getting more than that; so be careful with the ones you have. Mess with my friends, even if it's once; chances are that I'll rememeber it years from now. I don't have many true friends, so I appreciate every one I can call and complain to and they'll just listen and make me feel better.

Take the time to read this, I didn't pay much attention it the first time around and then looked back on it and realized it's true.

Have you ever wondered what you would do if you got stabbed in the back with a knife? Would you pull it out and risk dying immediately from the loss of blood or would you risk the excruciating pain and other damages left from it that might possibly kill you ,too? Would you be willing to be friends with whoever hurt you before and risk the fact that they could do it again?

They're difficult questions with no real answer because we're different from one another. The dagger theory is a metaphor for how bad relationships and friendships are. Lets say someone you've known for the longest time cheated on you. Would you be willing to still be there friend or sever your ties with him/her altogether? You probably would love him/her so much that it would be difficult to decide because it hurts letting go of something you love but then again he/she might hurt you if he/she does cheat on you again. Same thing goes with friends who talk behind your back. You've been friends since kindergarden and then they start shit with you. Is it worth it still being there friend a year later? Are you willing to take the risks again, only knowing that either way might be painful. So I guess there is no real answer to the questions above, only scars and memories. Thanks for 5 minutes of your time.
