My Bio:

Well to start, my name is Jenn, or Jennifer, Carmen, or Carma (you can pick whichever really) I am from Esperanza, Dominican Republic but I grew up in Rhode Island. I'm eighteen and I'm looking to be a tour manager in the next year or so. I am also the sole writer of The Indie Tip Column, though it is on a long hiatus until I have some questions to answer or I finally I start touring (finally). I'm also a singer/songwriter though I'm not in a band, you don't understand how sexist the music scene around here is, it's disgusting. Besides my infatuation with music I love to write, I haven't in a while (drama's not cool) but hopefully when the semester starts I'll be inspired to write again. I'm single now that my ex is finally out of the picture (took him 4 years to be out but thank god he finally is). But yeah, I'm not emo (even though some people like to say I am), I'm not goth even though I have my moments), I'm not a prep (again, I have my moments); all together I'm your all around concert going rock fan. If you want a full description here it is:

-I love skinnys (they're the only kind of jeans that feel right and look good with everything)
-I like dark colors but I'm starting to get into bright colors like yellow, blue, purple and certain shades of green (like the incubus song haha)
-I like wearing tank tops and stuff, only because t-shirts make my boobs stick out too much and it makes me feel uncomfortable.
-my hair is your typical emo hair, minus the razor cut cause the stupid stylist didn't know what I was talking about. but I'm gonna change it soon.
-I love pajamas, I wear them to class, I wear them shopping, I wear them all over. you can't stop me, I will keep buying pj's until that's all I have lol
-I wear glasses, no not emo glasses (shits are wayyyyy to dark and wayyyy to thick), I have multiple pairs; pink plastic ones, brown and green plastic and metal, and green metals...amazingly they are all broken as of a month ago (fist fights with my mom, you can ask if you'd like)
-I have color changing eyes, when I'm fully rested their hazel-green (like a7x's song) and when I'm tired they're honey brown to maple brown.
-I HATE "Gangstas". I think they're the fakest of people. I hate the whole "gotta have dat cash", "Live 4 Da Ho's" type shit. really, it's old and not real. I think we all know you're broke as hell, and can't get a real girl, only a hoe would get with you. and yes, I do live in an urban neighborhood and can act a little "ghetto" from time to time, but shit, you don't see me acting like a chicken head 24/7, get a life for once!
