Justin freakin' Morneau. 2008 MVP and Home Run Derby champ, plus multiple years on the all-star team. Not to mention he's a first baseman, and tossed me a game ball earlier this season :) Now he's out for the rest of the season too, much to everyone in this state's dismay :(
I love Joe Mauer. He's one of my two favorite baseball players ever. three-time all star, gold glove winner, and a two-time batting champ, as well as being the first catcher ever in the AL to win that batting champ. gah. love him.
Okay so, Kevin Slowey is my favorite pitcher on the Twins starting rotation. He has a 10-3 record this year. Unfortunately, he's going to have wrist surgery and is out for the rest of the year :(( But I really hope he's back in 2010!!
The one up to bat is me :)
As you can see, I love baseball and softball.
This man means more to me than you think, though the reasons behind that are too long to list here. Maybe I'll tell you that story someday.
