About
I'm artistically oriented, more in music than anything else, but I love the arts. From what I am most talented in to the least is music, cooking, writing, and drawing, sculpting, or painting. Sports on the other hand, I'm not very good at them and I despise professionals for several reasons dealing with money and influences. I am not saying that I hate sports, I love cross-country skiing.
Music!!!! To me, life is music, music is life. They are one in the same and if I die in music, I die in life. I play the violin and the viola. Everyone knows what a violin is, but a viola. What in the world is a viola? It's slightly bigger than a violin, it's an octave higher than a cello, and I've recently found out that a viola really is a violin with a college education. Bada dah! (Oh my gosh, onomatopoeia) I can also play the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata on piano by memory and a few other pieces, but I'm not a pianist.
I read often, usually romance or fantasy. I've recently read the first three books of the Twilight series. I really enjoyed reading about clumsy Bella. I've also read Eragon. I used to be absolutely obsessed with that series, I read that five times and Eldest three. Afterwards, I watched the movie, then I waited for the third book, then I waited some more, and it's finally just about here. I've waited three years at the very least for that one book and the movie completely ruined the quality of the books.
I love to cook, I specialize in pastries and desserts, though I can also make main courses. I also knit. I've made a poncho, a shawl, some scarves, a wall hanging, and two pillows. The poncho was probably the most difficult, unfortunately, it turned out the best, not to say that is bad, but I have and am improving.
DOGS!!! Wonderful, wonderful dogs!!! I own two golden retrievers. They are brother and sister from the same litter and they are one of the three things that, if two thirds lost, I will go into a major depression towards suicide. But they are four years old, otherwise 28 years old in dog years. The other two things are my best friend Robert and my fingers. Without my fingers I can't make music, and music is my life, so music is an exception. If I lose my fingers, I will die shortly afterwards. Sooner or later there may or may not be a fourth. The fourth to be announced when found.
