My name is Camille. I am currently 16 years old and I live on a small island called Guernsey.

I like writing down random facts, so here we go:

I really love anime. It appeals to my inner-pokemon-loving-child.

I tend to prefer songs that make me feel sad. Is that a weird form of masochism?

I also really like songs that slag people off. Great angry songs, those.

Harry Potter fan fiction involving Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter falling in love makes my day. Just say it’s my personal fan fiction weakness.

Wheezywaiter and Charlieissocoollike are my favourite Youtube vloggers because they’re hilarious.

My favourite eye liner colours are green, blue and purple. They also happen to be my favourite colours in general.

I really like slash fiction as long as it’s not too cliché and sentimental.

Sometimes I wish I went outdoors more. I never actually do it though...

Some of my favourite films are One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Amelie, Donnie Darko, The Shawshank Redemption, Edward Scissorhands and The Shipping News.

I like drawing things in ballpoint pen. Doodling, basically.

And as the summer's ending, the cold air will rush your cold heart away...

I just can’t truly get into modern pop-punk. It’s all so samey. I prefer bands and singers that strive to make their music diverse and thought-invoking. Look no further than Conor Oberst for this.

When I listen to music I like to think up music videos to play them to.

I would very much like to live as a writer when I’m older, just creating stories for a living. Pretty flimsy dream if you ask me.

Talking of flimsy dreams, I’d also love to sing in a band someday.

I play piano and guitar.

Sometimes if I don't want to do something I just literally run from my problems.

I get nervous very easily sometimes.

Apparently my face is a kaleidoscope of emotion, so I guess I can't hide what I'm feeling very easily.

I don’t just like writing stories. I also like thinking up song lyrics.

My acoustic guitar is named Jeff after Jeff Buckley. My electric guitar is named Roderick for no reason whatsoever.

I like almost anything related to the country of Japan.

I'm named after the painter Monet's wife, Camille.

I love drawing people in manga style, though I'm not particularly good at it.

I am an atheist in a loose sense, although I still find the idea of an omniscient God watching me on the loo amusing.

I have two dogs called Finn and Freddie and a cat called Leo!

The Clair de Lune is my favourite song to play on the piano. It’s very calming.

I don’t really like having one “best friend”. I prefer calling the people I trust “close friends.” I love all of my close friends.

Hugging and kissing are both lovely things.

I think of my top favourite bands/singers as Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Bright Eyes, Muse and Jeff Buckley.

I don’t just read books. I devour them.
