Any story I write always has tons of twists and little details in it. That way, when people notice them, I know they're really paying attention.
Snow globes, mates, yellow hearts, Radiohead, scarves, long socks, purple bras, Vampire Weekend, drinking, Reading Festival, pig tails, The Libertines, messy bedrooms, late bedtimes, seeing the sun from the wrong side, horror films, funny books, collecting conversations, stand up, sitcoms, mud, Muse, the odd boy, Regina Spektor, rugby, crisps, quilts, my sapphire ring, the pub, my beautiful boys, my interesting boys, kissing, dancing, grinding, *censored* (just kidding . . . not!), sally badge, Feeling Sorry For Celia, waving, turtle stickers, crunchies, not snickers, giggling, tickling, laughing aaaaaand mascara.
If you trampled through all that and didn't hate it all, then well done. You've passed the first test.
