ATTENTION to whomever has read my Blood Red Iris story: I'm not going to be able to update anything for a very, very long time because school is starting soon and I won't have ny time to write. Trust me, I am just as disappointed as you are. But my parents have forbidden me to write anything but school related things because I do it so often. They think it will take up all of my time and that I'll fail school despite the fact that I have a 4.0 GPA. So basically, they are taking away my love, my passion, my chosen profession, so that I can focus on school, despite the fact that the REASON they want me to do well in school is because they want me to go to a University which I will and when at that University, what will I study? I'll tell you what: WRITING. So why the bloody hell are they making me NOT write when that is what I plan to do with the rest of my life? They have no appreciation for art of any kind. They don't even read my writings. They don't care at all. It makes me so furious I can't even express it. But as the American's say: whatever.


Hey everyone, I'm Kara. I'm originally from England, but I moved to the states (obviously). I'm Irish, English and Italian. I want to be an author one day. I actually took a writing course this summer and I must say that it was a fabulous experience. I would suggest it to anyone who is interested in writing. I also read a lot. I'm one of the obsessed with Harry Potter people, but I'm also an enormous fan of the Twilight series (hense the icon). I can't wait until either of the movies come out (Harry and Twilight). But to be honest, I don't really like movies all that much. Not to say that I never watch them. I do, but I don't really have a favorite movie. I like Harry Potter of course and I plan to like Twilight...but most of the time I forget the title of the movie the moment after I watch it. OH! I did recently see one of the greatest movies of all time though: Batman. It is now currently the background on my computer ^.^

So, one major fact about me: music is my life. And I don't mean that I like to rock out to music a bunch (which I do, but that is besides the point), I mean that I like to PLAY music. When I play the piano or the guitar I completely go into a different place. I enjoy writing songs and lyrics. I hate country and rap music. I like rock music though. Speaking of which, here are some bands that are awesome: Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, Eve 6, The Beatles, Alkaline Trio, Blink 182, Coheed and Cambrian, Deathcab for Cutie, Goo Goo Dolls, Nightmare of You, Rooney.

Those are some little tidbits (haha, tidbit...) about me. I hope I didn't bore you too much. ^.^
