I've wanted to get violet streaks in my hair forever. -I will write on ANYTHING with sharpie. Laptop, fingernails, backpack, bedroom walls... -I am very unimpressed with said sharpies. They rub off laptops, wash off fingernails, run everywhere on backpacks, and fade off walls. -I never match my socks. Band concerts (I'm in the band) excluded. Socks are my obsession. -I'm right handed but I fight left-handed. -I'm uber independant. Offering help, especially with physical tasks, can and will make me angry. -I rock pigtails. The high, side-of-your-head ones. Six-year-old style. -I love lemon gelato. Especially since neither of my roomies will eat it, so whenever I buy it I always get the whole tub. -Tamora Pierce is my favourite author. I'm on a quest to own all of her books. I'm almost there. Two more birthdays/Christmasses should do it. Learn the rules so that you know how to break them properly. Why do we plan for everything? Because everything that can go wrong will go wrong. -Murphy's Law My Recommended Stories Diary of a Reluctant Ruler, by xXGreywingsXx Dirty Journalism and its sequel In Too Deep, by demetria-lynn From Gumboots to Jimmy Choos, by Defying.Gravity Freaks and Fortune, by Ms.Marauder Forbidden, its sequel Planned, and Planned's sequel Hidden, by aeeleigh That Weird Guitar Tech, by kiss my sas A New Playing Field, its sequel Lucky I'm in Love With My Best Friend, and LIILWMBF's sequel Crawling Back to You, by allygator18 Cupid's Unwated Arrow, and its sequel Cupid's Eternal Arrow, both by Chips92 Youtube Videos for all Shift Happens Little Chinese gymnasts - training And the serious stuff I am the boy who never finished high school, because I got called a fag everyday. I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the mother who the court does not allow to visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person ashamed to tell my own friends I'm a lesbian, because they constantly make fun of them. I am the boy tied to a fence, beaten to a bloody pulp and left to die because two straight men wanted to "teach me a lesson" I believe homophobia is wrong. Everyone should be free to love whomever they wish. I actually saw the cutest gay couple at the doctor's office last week. One was hunched over looking like he had belly pains, and the other was giving him little kisses and rubbing his back. It was so adorable! That's exactly what I want my boyfriend or girlfriend to do for me if I'm ever sick. A white man said, "colored people are not allowed here". The black man turned around and stood up. He then said: Listen sir....when I was born I was BLACK, when I grew up I was BLACK, when I'm sick I'm BLACK, when I go into the sun I'm BLACK, when I'm cold I'm BLACK, When I die I'll be BLACK. But you sir, when you are born you were PINK, when you grew up you were WHITE, when you're sick you're GREEN, when you go in the sun you turn RED, when you're cold you turn BLUE, and when you die you turn PURPLE. You have the nerve to call me colored? The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away.. I also HATE racism. If you were blind would you actually be able to tell the difference? |
