About
Got a Facebook? Add me if you want.
My name is

I have many nicknames, being, Mel, Melz, Melmoo (oh dear God, don't ask), Melly (wtf, I don't even know how this one happened), MellyBelly (Victoria, I love you to death, but I hate you for that one), Mel-Mel, Pookie, Poppy, Sissy (but only Kenny is allowed to call me that), M&M, Lioness (AHAHA), Trouble, Voldemort, Benny (Victoria only), Bobbert, Melody-Bear, Rizzo, and Dork. But most people just call me Melody or Mel, you can call me whatever you want.
Well, I'm 16, born March 27, 1992

I'm from Virginia, where we sick our hunting dogs on fuckers like you! (inside joke) Brunette, with blonde side bangs, brown eyes (blah XP), and hysterically funny. Or so they tell me. I don't really fit into any categories for stereotypes, cause I'm a little bit of everything, little bit of nothing. I just like to refer to myself as myself. I'm colorful and crazy and bright and spastic and all of the above. I'm UBER sarcastic, and psychotic, and just a bit off my rocker xD I obsess over something different each week. I like making friends, PM me if you want to; I love to meet new people.

I am an EXTREME bookworm, I read pretty much a book a day, IF they are good books. If not, well, then it takes 2-3 days. Plus it depends on my attentative-ness levels in math XD I like to write, read, I love history and English, hate gym, hate math, but I'm good at it. I'm addicted to the internet. Literally. Yeah, I'm a nerd. Get over it.

I can not stand racists, stereotypical people, and homophobes. If you are any of the above, I won't say you're a bad person, but I MOST LIKELY wouldn't get along with you.

I'm a Christian. Don't like it, tough cookies.

ART, BIZNATCHES. Learn it. Breathe it. Sleep it. Love it. (I was taught and am still having the lesson drilled into my brain that my sketchbook is an extra appendage.)
My DeviantArt. Check it.

I'm extremely random. At least that's what they tell me, I honestly don't think so. If you could see my train of thought, everything I say fits perfectly in my mind. And I'm good at insulting others. Only when I'm kidding, of course xD

~AND A LOT MORE THAT I'M TOO LAZY TOO TYPE~
I know no one outside of Baltimore, D.C., and sometimes Philly has ever even HEARD of Crack The Sky, but honestly, they're probably the band I recommend most for people to listen to. They're from the 80's and still going, and in my opinion, are the best band that never made it. I seriously suggest that anyone who reads this go and find the songs Nuclear Apathy, I Don't Have a Tie, and Lighten Up McGraw (that one'll help you understand my location, lol). If you can't find them, but want to, let me know. I have them, obviously.
I don't really get the whole deal with Gerard Way and Bert McCracken. I mean, I understand the whole thing, I just think that at this point it's just stupid. I think that grudging for even a little while is dumb, and that it doesn't matter whose fault anything is, they just need to resolve their differences and forgive eachother and get the hell over it. I also think that people choosing sides encourages them, so I am neither pro-Bert or pro-Gerard. I am neutral. I am so neutral I am practically Switzerland incarnate. So yes, there is my opinion, because I'm tired of people asking me whose 'side' I'm on.
I can be really cynical and bitchy at times, and at others I'm one of the most carefree, happy people on the face of the planet. Usually when I'm in Uber-Angst-Mode I try to keep it from affecting the people around me, but if it gets too bad I'll talk to someone and break that proverbial bottle open.

I've sworn to never drink alcohol knowingly, because my grandmother died from alcohol abuse, leaving my father with an abusive adopted sister whom he eventually ran away from when he was 15 (no, I'm not kidding). I promised myself I would never do that to anyone, friends, family, kids, whoever.
QUOTAGE:
I'll change the quote every week or so if I remember. You may not understand them, because out of the whole conversation they make no sense xD they're just quotes that made me laugh my ass off.
"Except for me. I'll taser you every time you use a word with the letter E in it. Your vocabulary will improve drastically." - Tymko, on Brianna and I tasering Lucien every time he apologizes.
RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:
-I love rainbows. Anything rainbow or multi-colored.
-My left foot is slightly crooked
-My eyes turn an amber-ish color in the sun
-I hate my teeth, therefore I hate my smile.
-People tell me I can sing, I just choose not to believe them.
-I want to be a world history teacher when I'm older
-I get deja vu a lot
-ART. I LOVE IT. I AM AN ART GEEK.
-I never really believed in my religion until Confirmation class, now I'm a proud Christian (Methodist, to be exact xD)
-I have a Superman fetish. More like obsession.
-I have a naturally low body temperature. 98.6 (normal) is high for me.
-I am part Hungarian, part Austrian, and a tiny bit Italian. I may also be part Soviet Russian, but I'm not sure.
-I can say hello in Cherokee (exciting, I know)
-I'm terrified of bridges and the ocean.
-I'm a member of the Grammar Gestapo
-I have abnormally high iron levels for a person of my age and gender.
-I eat my Reese's by taking the middle out and eating that first, breaking the remaining ring in half, scraping the peanut butter out of those pieces and eating it, then taking the chocolate left over and eating that last. (Rereading this now, I realize that wow. I am such a freak.)
I go to the gangsta school xDDDD But for the Center for the Arts. Visual Art. Which totally owns the rest of CFA (Dance, Vocal Music Theatre, and Drama)
I have the most amazing friends anyone could ask for. They've always been there to pick up the pieces when I shatter under all my worrying and stress, and I'm there for them in return. I would do anything for my friends, and I can't bear it when one of them is hurting because their pain feels like it's mine. You all know who you are and just sos ya know, I love you.

PHANGIRL AND PROUD.
64 % of the Phangirl nation thinks that Erik should have went with Christine in the end. Copy this into your profile if you're one of the sane 36 % that thinks Christine should have just fallen in a hole and saved poor Erik a lot of torment.

And I discovered something I like from Broadway all on my own, Victoria is so proud.
YOU KNOW YOU'RE FROM RICHMOND WHEN...
- You know what Arthur Ashe has in common with Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson
- The kids with the multicolored hair and piercings are probably from VCU
- You know how to pronounce Parham and Powhite correctly... and get pissed when non-Richmonders don't.
- You know that it's northSIDE and southSIDE... but east END and west END. And then there's just lakeside...
- You remember when short pump was farmland, and probably bitch about big business ruining the landscape... but still go there on a weekly basis to shop/see movies. Except on Friday and Saturday nights. Because that's just suicide.
- You know it can be 70 d. one day and 40 d. the next and not think that's strange... but somehow, it's always humid.
- You know that y'all is an actual word
- You'll find pearl-laden, rainbow-wearing girls in Carytown just as frequently as those with hair dyed purple and nose rings... and not find it weird
- You don't get weirded out when the roads suddenly turn to cobblestone and then back to pavement.
- You remember the ibook stampede of '05
- You've driven around the city on the tacky lights tour. And probably rented a limo and dressed up for it... and you don't think that's odd
- You have been to or know someone who has been to First Friday Artwalk.
(I shortened that from the original list btw. It used to be about five zillion pages long.)
