My name is Katarina Vita-Gioia Calliopè, more commonly known as Katie.
Call me Poptart if you want, I'm not stopping you! The header for this section LIES,
I am really 18, but there's no blink-182 lyrics with the number 18 in them, so I had to resort to 17.
If I had this header four months ago, it would've made sense, but that is simply not the case.
I was born in Casablanca, Morocco, but I am not Arabic in any way, shape, or form.
In fact, I am EXTREMELY Italian and Polish...and it also happens that I am incredibly multilingual:
Italian, Polish, English, and I'm even workin' on Spanish. I'm a busy, busy girl!
I'm very upbeat and optimistic. I always try to look on the bright side of things and find the good in people.
How else are we all supposed to get along, right? :D I'm really bubbly and smiley all the time,
there's hardly ever a moment where you'll see me sad or mad.
I'm pretty sure that's unhealthy, but what are you gonna do? I'm just me =)
I love to dress up and twirl around in sundresses and wear flowers in my hair and laugh.
Come to think of it, I laugh a lot. And sing a lot, too. I love to sing...It's not my passion, but it's still fun :D
My three favorite bands are blink-182, Ben Folds Five, and The Beatles.
Relient K comes in a close fourth, but those are my main three.
I love love love love love music, I won't go as far and say it's my life, because it's not at all,
but really, when you think about it, how on Earth would you be able to go through
a whole entire day without music? It's just not possible!
A weird fact about me is that I am absolutely in love with ska music. If you've never listened to ska,
you have not lived. Listen to Big D and the Kids Table, they're great :D
I love Jesus. Strange thing to say this day in age, right? That's why I appreciate it when
Christians aren't afraid to say they're Christians, and they stand up for their beliefs.
I really try not to push my religion on people, but sometimes something will just be so ridiculous,
that I have to say something to point out the facts. I mean, how could this earth NOT be created
by a higher being? It's all too complex and beautiful to just appear out of thin air.
Or harvest in dust particles over millions of years, take your pick.
I love my family and my friends! :D I'd really do anything for them. I always try to make them laugh
and be happy, because I love it when they smile. I'm not the only one that smiles, ya know! ;D
There's really only one way to describe myself, and that is "Let the sun shine".
I try to make the sun shine through me so others can see it, and I try to make the sun in other people
come out, too. Happiness is a rare thing these days, so I love it when I see it genuinely :D
