I always introduce myself. Always. I'm not going to list off a shit load of nicknames for you to call me by.
And I refuse to call people I don't know pet names; I find it tacky and passe. I totally cringe when someone calls me "love".
I may not necessarily be unique, but I'm entirely myself. And, well, that's enough for me. Maybe one day I just might grow on you.
I don't expect people to understand me, but I don't insist that they won't.
