About
"And when the Moon shone in the heavens the Nightingaleflew to the
Rose-tree, and set her breast against the thorn. All night long
she sang with her breast against the thorn, and thecold crystal moon leaned down and listened. All night long she sang, and the
thorn went deeper and deeper into her breast, and her LIFE BLOOD
ebbed away from her."
- The Nightingale and the Rose, by Oscar Wilde.

Books: Since I was very small, I have always loved delving into the world of fiction. I read voraciously- about a novel a day, if I’m on my game. Some of my favourite fiction include the Harry Potter series, Nirvana’s Children, The Hobbit, The Nightingale and the Rose (and Other Stories), Artemis Fowl series, The Supernaturalist, Airman, The Wish List, The Catcher in the Rye, Darren Shan Saga, Stephanie Plum novels, The Demonata, Barry Trotter and the Shameless Parody, Borrowed Light, Luna-C, Hero and many, many more titles that are not leaping to my mind at this moment. I’m a somewhat picky reader- I do not usually read romance unless it involves a lot of angst, plus sports and dreary accounts of workings of historical social lives are out of the question. That is probably the main reason why I loathe Jane Austen’s writing. I know she is meant to be an amazing writer, but what little I’ve attempted to read of hers bores me to tears. Also, unlike most of the population of Mibba, I cannot stand Twilight or anything else Stephanie Myer may have written.

Movies: This list is hardly ever constant, because I am constantly expanding my film palette. However, I will try and list some of the most memorable ones to date (in no particular order). American Psycho, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, Brokeback Mountain, My Own Private Idaho, The Godfather 2, LOTR, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, Saw series, Ten Things I Hate About You, Dark Knight, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Star Wars, Slither, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Number 23, The Producers, Chicago, The Simpsons Movie, Moulin Rouge, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Rescue Dawn, Sleepy Hollow, Some Like It Hot, Back to the Future series, Mulan, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Dust Factory, The Goonies, Mean Girls, School of Rock, Orange County, Rent, The Libertine, Amelé and Life of Brian are all big favourites of mine. As you can see, with movies I’m pretty lax with what I want. I can go for all genres- well, still I’m not that partial to romance (unless it’s homosexual romance. That’s good.)

IN AMORE MEMORIA

Music:The inevitable, really, seeing how influenced by music this site is. I will start by saying my favourite band is Green Day. They were the first band I truly got into, and will always hold a special place in my heart (however sappy that sounds). Now that we’ve gotten past that, I might care to mention a few more favourite artists; The Doors, The Ramones, The Clash, Tenacious D, Mindless Self Indulgence, AFI, Pansy Division, Three Days Grace, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Mozart, The Living End, Weird Al Yakovic, Weezer, The Fray, Pinhead Gunpowder, The Network, Fallout Boy, The Who, Pink Floyd, Gunther (for humour related reasons), Screeching Weasel, Queenand The Ministry of Magic. I have a very wide music variety, but I am more inclined to rock.
"How about a magic trick? I'm going to make this pencil disappear..."

"Ta-daa! It's... gone!"
Awesome layout is by Ashtray, also known as finksgirl. She is awesome, she indeed owns your ass and is one of the best layout makers I know.
