I love life. Even the bad stuff. All the various experiences of life make it worth living. Pain makes us stronger, suffering can often bring out the good in others. And if we didn't have all the bad stuff, the good stuff wouldn't mean as much. And that, I think, would be very sad. People tend to ask the question a lot: what's the point in life? I say: life is the point of life. Touching, smelling, tasting, hearing, feeling, loving, crying, getting angry, falling in love, falling out of it, making bonds with other people, learning when to let go, and when to hang on. Being human. Living. That simply is the point of life. And life can be cruel. Harsh. Unfair. Lonely. Cold. Frightening. But it can be so much more, if we let it in. It can be beautiful. Bright. Colorful. Enlightening. Awe-inspiring. Life is going to come at you, and as they say, there are no dress rehearsals. You're going to have to improvise and be flexible an awful lot. But it's up to you to make life exciting and worth living. No one else can do that for you. Some people can help, but no one can do it for you. The decision is yours. Do you want to sit around waiting for adventure? Or are you going to be one of the ones who hops on life's train and finds adventure. Life is a highway. Life is a river. Life is a rainbow. It has all kinds of twists and turns up ahead that we can't see. And it's unsteady and not always solid and still beneath our feet. We can't always see where the path ends. There are going to be forks in the road. It's up to you and you alone to choose which paths you take. Do you walk the road less traveled to see where it leads? Or do you follow the path more worn; the safer route. Sometimes the risks can be far more rewarding than the caution. Dare to dream. Dare to love. Dare to fly. Dare, to live.
