Quite Too Utterly Ecstatic

...Keats and Yeats are on your side, but weird lover Wilde is on mine...

Image

Eight ounces Intorverted art-child,
Eight ounces Extroverted lover of parties and friends,
Sixteen ounces Lover,
Four ounces of wanting to be Gerard Way,
Four ounces Prizewinning poet, but I suppose it doesn't demonstrate decorum to brag about such things,
Eight more ounces Lover,
Yet, two ounces Hater,
Six ounces Work-shy procrastrinator,
And howevermuchelse makes the weight of this particular brain is Lover

And the rest is skin and bone and fat and sinew and all that inevitable worldly shit.

I'm a sucker for comic book villains and people with mile-wide smiles and I create my own chaos around me but that's okay because when things go wrong I let it wash over like a wave at the seaside and come out unaffected (unless, that is, I've been fallen out of love with, in which case I die and become a monster-corpse for anywhere between a couple of days and two months, depending on how in love I was, and am only really reborn and living life to the full again when someone else comes along to love me, which is my major flaw.)

You may remember me from such places as Affleck's Place and the northern quarter of Manchester on a Saturday, libraries, lonely northern moors and your own reflection in the dark.

I am Gerard Way, Holden Caulfield, Morrissey, Sylvia Plath, Mrs Lovett and Conor Oberst, but never quite myself.

"I amthe Vampire Lestat.
I'm immortal. More or less.
The light of the sun, the sustained heat of an intense fire - these things might destroy me...
But then again,

They might not."
