I live for music, and I spend a lot of time writing. I had a short story published when I was twelve.

I'm the youngest of three kids in my family, and my brother recently got married. The wedding was in Mexico and I absolutely love my new sister! I guess that means that technically I'm the youngest of four kids now haha.

My best friend recently came out to me, and I couldn't be happier for him! He's such an amazing guy and I really wish him all the best. I hate it so much when people are homophobic, mainly because I have a few other friends who are either gay or bi, and they're such amazing people and I couldn't imagine my life without them.

I graduated from high school in the spring, and I now live an unbearably far distance from all of my friends.

In the winter I like to snowboard and play pond hockey with my brother. The rest of the year I don't play much sports.

I hate it when people label me, because I don't really fit into any of them. One of my friends called me an "emo goth punk rocker chick" because he couldn't pick one word to describe me. After that he went on to describe himself in one word - prep. I can't argue with that one. I'm definitely the misfit in my group of friends, but I don't mind. As much we taunt each other, we've always got each other's backs. I'm pretty sure they use me for protection, though, because apparently I've been known to scare people. Maybe it's because I started a fight in the fourth grade and somehow got the other girl into trouble for it. Violence is wrong, children lol.

Music is more than a passion, it's a therapy. I have certain songs that I listen to when I'm in certain moods, and it helps.

I watch a lot of horror movies and comedies. My favorite movies of all time are Empire Records, Step Brothers, and the Saw films. My favorite TV show is Supernatural. I also watch One Tree Hill, The Office, and Heroes.

I taught myself to express myself through my writing and singing, so some of the poems I post are actually lyrics. My stories might have parts that will reference things that have happened to me, or characters may be based on me or my friends, but my poems are the way that I release the darkest parts of me. They all have something to do with my life and experiences.
